How did Brother influence the printer and typewriter market?


 

In the process of transitioning from producing only sewing machines to manufacturing dozens of electrical appliances, Brother supported many events throughout Japan and quickly seized the typewriter and printer market. In the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games, Brother supported the event by providing 300 typewriters for foreign journalists. Brother Printer History The event gave Brother an exposure that no one ever envisioned. Seven years after the Tokyo Olympic Games, Brother mass-produced typewriters that could write in more than 20 languages and exported them to 110 countries. From 1980 to 1995, Brother produced many new technologies and devices that changed the way humans perform their day-to-day tasks. But the most significant change came when Brother introduced their flagship A3 Colour Multi-Function Centre in 2008 that could do everything from scanning, color printing, fax, and Ethernet networks to print remotely.
